Grundfos Expands Cooling Portfolio with Next-Gen Energy-Efficient Solutions


Launches MIXIT, advanced IE5 pump solutions, and enhanced LSV efficiency to support India’s growing cooling demands

Bengaluru, India, February 20, 2025 – Grundfos, a global leader in intelligent and energy-efficient pumping solutions, has unveiled its latest advancements in cooling technology at ACREX India 2025. With the launch of MIXIT, an innovative HVAC solution, along with an expanded range of IE5 pumps and enhanced LSV efficiency, the company aims to revolutionize cooling efficiency for data centers and district cooling systems.

India’s commercial real estate sector is witnessing unprecedented growth, with JLL projecting an expansion of 1 billion sq. ft by 2026 and 1.2 billion sq. ft by 2030. With space cooling demand rising by 15-20% annually due to urbanization, increasing incomes, and higher temperatures, sustainable cooling solutions are becoming a critical necessity.

Speaking at the launch, Saravanan Panneer Selvam, Senior Regional Sales Director, CBS, Grundfos India, emphasized the urgency of energy-efficient cooling technologies. “As India’s energy demand surges over the next decade, driven by rapid urbanization and industrial growth, the need for sustainable solutions has never been more critical. At Grundfos, we are committed to leading this charge by introducing innovative HVAC solutions like MIXIT, designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.”

In addition to MIXIT, Grundfos is enhancing its cooling portfolio with an extended range of IE5 single-stage pump solutions (NKE and TPE) up to 55 kW and improved LSV efficiency to cater to the growing demands of data centers and district cooling networks. These next-generation cooling solutions are meticulously designed to maximize energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support environmental sustainability.

With these innovations, Grundfos continues to lead the way in sustainable cooling, aligning with India’s ambitious energy efficiency and climate goals.
