Statewide Education Awareness Campaign on Digital Reforms Launched in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, July 3: Easy Access Services, in association with the e-Governance Federation of India, formally launched its Karnataka-wide Education Awareness Campaign with a state-level press conference at the Bangalore Press Club on Friday.

The initiative aims to create greater public awareness about key education reforms and digital initiatives of the Government of India, ensuring that students, parents, teachers and educational institutions are well-informed about the opportunities available under the evolving education ecosystem.

During the programme, speakers highlighted the significance of the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR), Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), One Nation One Student ID, the National Education Policy (NEP), digital academic records, student credit transfer, academic mobility and technology-enabled educational governance. They stressed that wider awareness of these initiatives would help improve access to quality education, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

Authorised spokespersons Raju R, Pothirajan Ramaiah, Arunai Jeevanandan and Somen Das addressed the gathering, explaining the objectives and practical benefits of the reforms. They emphasised the need for coordinated efforts by educational institutions, government agencies, civil society organisations and the media to ensure that accurate information reaches every district of Karnataka.

The organisers announced that the awareness campaign will now be taken across the state through educational seminars, institutional outreach programmes, stakeholder interactions and community awareness initiatives.

Speaking on the occasion, Sandip Paul and Somen Das said education awareness is crucial for building an inclusive and future-ready society. They thanked the media fraternity for its participation and appealed for continued support in spreading awareness about national educational reforms among students and the wider public.
