Historic 51st All India Oriental Conference (AIOC) 2024 Set to Take Place in Udupi

The Bharatiya Vidvat Parishat is set to host the 51st session of the All India Oriental Conference (AIOC) in collaboration with Sri Puttige Matha and Central Sanskrit University.
With the blessings of 1008 Shri Sugunedra Theertha Swamiji of Puttige Matha, this prestigious event, that started in 1919, will bring together scholars from across India to engage in discussions spanning over 20 themes, including Vedic studies, Philosophy,
Linguistics, Yoga & Ayurveda, Indian knowledge systems and more.
This year, under the leadership of Sri Sugunendratirtha Swamiji of Sri Puttige Matha, a special theme on Bhagawad Gita Studies has been included to discuss its relevance and importance in the modern society.

Over 1000 research scholars are expected to attend and present their papers during the conference. Eminent scholars from across the country have been invited to participate in the conference.
During the Sanskrit kavigosthi titled, Vädiräjayuvakavigosthi young men and women present their original Sanskrit poems. This event offers young poets an opportunity to showcase their literary talents in the ancient language of Sanskrit and promises to be an attraction during the event.
As a part of Pandita Parishad vidyämänyayuvapanditaparisad” for all young scholars and an exclusive session for women titled “kalyäniyuvapanditäparisad” is organized.
